In 2009 a page describing the music search engine Melodycatcher was deleted because of “insufficient resources”. Recently I realized that Musipedia has been accepted for years with the notation “This article does not cite any references or sources” So this seemed reason to create a refreshed page about the Melodycatcher, almost similar to that of Musipedia, but with references (for that matter I noticed that on dec 5 it is proposed that this article on Musipedia should be deleted)

Having done so my concept was deleted again (without any previous warning and no clear location where I could find my text again)

I was advised to start again in a sandbox to provoke an earlier discussion. So please contact me about this concept. For that matter, since I have experience in melody search in general I am willing to crate or adapt further pages around this subject, if appropriate.
