Article Improvement Drive
Article Improvement Drive

This week's rugby league improvement drive is part of the WikiProject on Rugby League and is a weekly collaboration to improve rugby league articles to featured article status. Past collaborations are found on the history page, while removed nominations may be found on the removed nominations page. Previous winners that have gone on to become featured articles can be found at Featured collaborations.

Nomination and voting

Articles to be improved can be nominated by registered users in the "nominations" section below, with an explanation of what work is needed. To nominate an article, you can copy the template that you will below. Please do not nominate articles involved in edit wars. Each Sunday, the article with the most support votes is chosen. Opposing votes are not counted, the nomination is an approval voting. In case of a tie, the candidate that was nominated first wins. Articles need three votes per week to stay on the list. You can vote for as many articles as you like. As with any other vote on Wikipedia, sockpuppets are banned.

Renominating

An article that is removed from the nominations list for failing to receive the required number of votes by the stipulated date cannot be renominated till one month after the date it is moved to the current removed nominations page.

Considerations for nominators and voters

  • Giving reasons as to why an article should become the Rugby League AID may convince others to cast their vote.
  • Can the wider rugby league community easily contribute to the article? Or is it something only a small number of people will know about?
  • Is the article one which you are prepared to work on?

Nominations[edit]

The next project article is to be selected on Sunday 18 February.

Please add new nominations at the bottom of the page.

South Sydney Rabbitohs[edit]

Nominated 16 February 2007; needs at least 3 votes by 23 February 2007
Reason:

Currently possibly the best non-FA club article. With a bit of work it could get to FA status rather quickly.

  2. I would agree this is the closest to FA standard (Eels article a close second) CumberlandsAshes81 04:22, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Comments:

Henry Paul[edit]

Nominated 24 February 2008; needs at least 3 votes by 2 March 2008
Reason:

Article currently rated at Start and could quite easily be brought up to B, even GA status and beyond.
