The Wikipedia Library has a dedicated team of volunteer coordinators, but we welcome assistance from any member of the community. This is a list of open tasks, cool ideas, or nice-to-haves that anyone can take on. Feel free to add any suggestions you might have!

Account coordination tasks

  1. Participate in the 1Lib1Ref campaign
  2. Publicize and promote the 1Lib1Ref campaign
  3. Collect links for the next edition of Bytes in Brief

Open access coordination tasks

  1. Add entries to Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Library/OA
  2. Add more free-to-access resources to the Free Resources page

Other

  1. Improve the Find Sources help page
  2. Improve the Find Your Library and Find Your Source pages
  3. Improve the Referencing for Beginners page
  4. Answer questions at the Reference Desk
  5. Respond to requests at the Resource Exchange
  6. Replace EZProxy and other institution-specific links with direct links to the source, with a DOI/PMID, or with an OA identifier
