Orphaned non-free media (Image:Puk.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Puk.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:07, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

RE: Prince of Persia

Excuse me, but I don't understand what you mean. If you want to know where I got the information on the paragraph I added in the edit you supplied, the player learns it gradually throughout the game. The game has "open dialogue," meaning the player can trigger dialogue between the two protagonists, the Prince and Elika, at any given moment in the game. There are specified moments when an icon will appear at the bottom of the screen, indicating that Elika wants to talk to the Prince. The dialogue provided at these given points are typically vital to understanding the story, and usually provides the player with a rich background story for either the Prince, Elika, or the antagonist whose domain the player is in at the time the icon appears. I went through the game and triggered each of these dialogues with Elika at every given moment where it was indicated that I should, and the Prince revealed quite a bit of his background story. The Concubine, one of four primary antagonists of the game, provides a lot of the Prince's background story as well. She continually taunts him throughout the game, telling him that he "doesn't really know who he is," asking if he's a "prince or a pauper," and at one points she even asks him why he ran from his destiny as a prince.

There is also the Nintendo DS counterpart to the game, titled The Fallen King. While The Fallen King doesn't provide many of the key aspects of the Prince's background story, it does delve deeper into who he is. It gives the player a good sense of where the Prince's loyalties lie, and why he fights, when it seems like he doesn't care. The Nintendo DS counterpart is extremely useful in understanding the Prince, if the player didn't during the console game.

I hope I've provided insight into your questions, and if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask them at my talk page. --The Guy complain edits 02:41, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi there! Whatever our views on the governing style of the KRG, we can't just add fields to the infobox that say "monarch", which is why I reverted you. Akerbeltz (talk) 16:18, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I left the monarch part empty so it didn't show up in the article. Also I changed a lot more than just that, maybe you could have just removed the monarch part? ~ Zirguezi 18:35, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Translation

Hi Zirguezi. I was wondering if you had the time to translate a short section of old Dutch in the image File:Delaware Bay Vinckeboons 14.jpg. If you're interested, take a go, and let me know at User_talk:Mostlyharmless#Translation (I'm contacting more than one person, so I don't want to cause a duplication of effort!). Disambiguation link notification for September 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2008 Turkish incursion into northern Iraq, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Militants (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Kurdish separatism in Iran campaignbox

Hello Zirguezi, since you were active on the Kurdish Iranian topic in the past - i would like to notify you the following: Recently an article Kurdish separatism in Iran was forced a split into new Rebellions in Iranian Kurdistan; In addition, the campaignbox was as well split [1]: from template:Campaignbox Kurdish separatism in Iran into the new template:Campaignbox Kurdish–Iranian conflict. I proposed to remerge the campaignboxes via a community consensus, with the rationale that the split of articles was made artificially and without any real need (the user who did it, had wanted to rename the Kurdish separatism in Iran article, but when failed - he started a "competitive" article). You are welcome to express your opinion at related discussion.Greyshark09 (talk) 14:24, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Kurdish separatism in Iran article

@Zirguezi: i would like to notify you that articles Kurdish separatism in Iran and Rebellions in Iranian Kurdistan are proposed to be merged. Previously a related discussion was held at proposal to rename "Kurdish separatism in Iran" -> "Kurdish insurgency in modern Iran" (WP:RM was rejected). In addition, the template:Campaignbox Kurdish separatism in Iran was later split ([2] into new template:Campaignbox Kurdish–Iranian conflict, but was consequently remerged via a community consensus (see discussion). Current merger discussion is held at Kurdish separatism in Iran#Proposed merge with Kurdish separatism in Iran.Greyshark09 (talk) 08:07, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
