Request reason:

I found myself on another editor's talk page via Special:Whatlinkshere/User:Walmwutter. To Jpgordon, I am not the same editor as the other two individuals. Yes, I used the same IP address, but it was an open proxy. I only used it because Wikipedia access was physically blocked on the public terminal I used. Hope this explains all. Note I am not blocked, and have no intention of misusing multiple accounts or vandalising. --Walmwutter (talk) 18:32, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The fact that this account, and Alkwingle, made edits to the same article within 7 minutes of each other is compelling evidence that either a) you are the same individual as the other individual or b) that, though different persons, you are acting in concert with the other indidual in order to disrupt Wikipedia. Per arbcom ruling : [1] the two situations are to be treated as indistinguishible. As such, you will remain blocked. — Jayron32.talk.contribs 18:58, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I apologise for the fact that I was sharing the same computer with two individuals. I didn't create the other two accounts, but I do know the people involved. If I am unblocked I will edit constructively, as I was doing before. I will find a different IP to edit from if unblocked. Apologies to Thatcher and everyone else for the stupidity of my friends.

Decline reason:

I fully endorse Thatcher's findings. I do not believe your explanation having seen the other edits you have made while logged-out -- which Thatcher has been generous enough not to link to. Sam Korn (smoddy) 10:23, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
