Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Dates[edit]

The problem with using all numbers as dates is that some countries list the month first, then the date, while others list the date first, than the month.

example: 9-11 obviously can refer as September 11, but, in many places, it means November 9. 207.210.134.83 (talk) 18:00, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. The only problem with listing September 11 (ex) is that the countries/regions run into each other. I have another idea that could work, what about (9/11/09) or something along those lines? Perhaps we should start something on the talk page so other can help think of a simple way to resolve this. Lofty threat[edit]

You wrote in the edit summary that "repeated violators will be blocked", or something along the lines of that. I am not violating anything. I am editing a template. I am going to undo your edit now until you are able to tell me what specifically you do not appreciate about my work. In that case, we will be able to make a compromise. The "repeated violators will be blocked" portion was unnecessary, yes but my two cents as one of the reverters; I think that your [obento musubi] new edits to the template makes everything too spread out. Personally, I like it when things are clustered closer together so it leaves more room for the text in the article.

In any case, when you make any major organizational changes to a template, you should usually refer to the template talk page first, especially if it is a highly-trafficked one. A discussion between editors will produce the best possible result and it will avoid edit-warring and unnecessary arguments. Speedy deletion of Template:Polygamy[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Polygamy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
