Basketball notability[edit]

There is no consensus that all basketball players who have appeared in a game meet WP:NBASKETBALL. We did recently add several leagues based on consensus discussions like this one. Please do not make unilateral changes to policy pages without consensus. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 16:18, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Asturkian (talk) 17:56, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Basketball depth chart/table[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Template:Basketball depth chart/table shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Your feedback matters: Final reminder to take the global Wikimedia survey[edit]

Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring[edit]

I have filed a report here. Frietjes (talk) 14:49, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined the report but please continue to work towards consensus for this dispute. --NeilN talk to me 14:56, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 20[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited ABA League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page EuroCup. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Benjamin Simons[edit]

This is Benjamin Simons (an American); not to be confused with NBA player Ben Simmons (an Australian). You'll have to create a Benjamin Simons (basketball) article for the former. DaHuzyBru (talk) 11:32, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2018 in basketball has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Incomplete/abandoned. Essentially a place-holder right now, which isn't a valid reason to exist.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 14:31, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Historia del Baskonia[edit]

Hola. Chasson Randle/Real Madrid[edit]

Why do you keep removing “Liga ACB” from the infobox? Real Madrid is in both leagues, not just Euroleague. Randle has not played in aN ACB game, but that doesn’t mean the team isn’t in that league. If it is because he has yet to play in an ACB game, I would just say that this doesn’t matter for the infobox or the article lead. It only means the Liga ACB players category must wait to be added. Do not remove these again without specifying a valid reason. Rikster2 (talk) 11:18, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
