April 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Template:2015–16 La Liga table without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Euroleague into 2015–16 FIBA-Euroleague controversy. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 22:50, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Partidos de Euroliga[edit]

Buenas. Asturkian (talk) 13:38, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unofficial Hungarian flag[edit]

Hello, Please don't correct back the Hunagrian flag to version 1957 (Euroleague). This flag is a mistake. It was NEVER an offical flag. Hi, Csurla (talk) 10:29, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to change that, if someone updates it. Thanks.Bluesangrel (talk) 21:47, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Euroleague officially changed its name to EuroLeague, and Eurocup to EuroCup[edit]

So why did you undo those correct changes?Bluesangrel (talk) 21:26, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

EuroLeague article is title now with the capitol L and the league officially changed to that. So I am going to move the FIBA-Euroleague article back with the capitol L.Bluesangrel (talk) 12:56, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's not named that. It's named just FIBA-Euroleague" no basketball in their. If that is your reason why it should not be capitol, then it should be titles FIBA-Euroleague Basketbal S.L. controversy. Because it is incorrectly titled if it just says "FIBA-Euroleague controversy", since Euroleague refers just to the league, and not the company that runs it. Either way, the subject matter of the body of the article itself, should have EuroLeague and EuroCup listed instead of Euroleague and Eurocup, when they are referenced to in current times in the article, or even back in the mid 90s to 2000, when it was called FIBA EuroLeague back then. If you want to rename the article to "FIBA-Euroleague Basketball S.L. controversy, then that is OK, as that would be factually correct also, as is the current title of "FIBA-EuroLeague controversy". But "FIBA-Euroleague controversy" isn't a correct title, because it referring just to the league, and using an old and out of date name of the league.Bluesangrel (talk) 12:56, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.TastyPoutine talk (if you dare) 23:46, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Player3[edit]

Please stop removing content from Template:Player3, because it breaks the format of many basketball rosters as - (hyphen), – (ndash) and — (mdash) can't be used anymore. Discuss before making any changes to such templates. If you keep removing content without giving a reason, you'll be reported and admins will decide what to do with you. – Sabbatino (talk) 09:51, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Sabbatino: Please stop removing the {{nts}}. The template {{nts}} is necessary to order the numbers correctly (1,2,3). The - (hyphen), – (ndash) and — (mdash) disorder the numbers (1,15,2,35,4). If you keep the content, you'll be reported and admins will decide what to do with you.
There's no need to be a parrot and repeat almost all my words. This matter was taken to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Basketball#Template:Player3 and discuss it there. Please refrain from making any edits to the template until the discussion is over. – Sabbatino (talk) 12:13, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove that Champions League has a final four?[edit]

There was no reason to remove that, especially since I was just about to make a new article for it. Please stop removing edits like that.Bluesangrel (talk)

Uniforms[edit]

Hi, I was wondering how you create uniforms for clubs like you did for Saski Baskonia. --H-Hurry (talk) 14:39, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Player categories[edit]

These are added once a player appears in an official game for the club and the league season starts October 1. Unless I am missing something Johannes Voigtmann and Rafael Luz have yet to play for Saski Baskonia beyond preseason or exhibition games. Am I missing something? Invite to the African Destubathon[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Prigioni does not have Spanish citizenship or nationality[edit]

Just so you know, he was licenced as a domestic player in Spain, because of how many years he played there (like many other players are that don't have any Spanish citizenship, passport or whatever. He does not hold any Spanish citizenship, nationality. It's the same thing with numerous other players on Baskonia's roster. Many of them have an Spanish playing licence, but that is all it is. Just a player exception, not nationality.Bluesangrel (talk) 18:14, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
