It happens[edit]

Every once in a while, as a Wikipedia editor, you just step in a pile of dog shit, and then you've got shit on your shoe for a while. It happens to the best of us (or so I've heard -- I wouldn't know). It isn't great, but it will pass :) jp×g🗯️ 18:28, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Saying thanks[edit]

The Original Barnstar
After your feedback last summer about my overly complex solution to a vintage map in another language, I created a translated svg version of the map. I've since seen the translated map pop up in a few YouTube videos, an article, and some online posts. It also spurred me to add my first text to Wikisource. It's unlikely that either resource would be on the web right now minus your input, Rjjiii (talk) 02:55, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the award, @Rjjiii! Glad to have been of assistance, even if only through inspiration. Always heartwarming to hear about our hard work as Wikipedians being appreciate through re-use.
Keep up the good work! Peter Isotalo 07:02, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
