Simcha Shirman[edit]

The edits in the article are based on a very reputable source. If an investigative piece was published in Hamakom, it means that it is based on solid evidence. The story mentions many people by name and cross references all accusations using hundreds of testimonials. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Infoprod (talkcontribs) 12:42, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You need a better source than a post on www.ha-makom.co.il. Something more mainstream. For content accusing a WP:BLP of rape, you need very high quality sources.--Mvqr (talk) 12:46, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Hamakom not a "high-quality source" and since when being "mainstream" is any assurance of quality? Hamakom is working since 2013 and uncovered some of the most outstanding cases of corruption in Israel. It is the leading site for investigative journalism in Israel. The journalist responsible for the article worked for years in Haaretz and The Marker, and is an award winning journalist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Infoprod (talkcontribs) 12:52, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Has anyone else picked this up? I searched, and I don't see this anywhere else. See WP:NOTNEWS, if this is as significant as Hamakom reports then surely other more mainstream outlets will pick this up.--Mvqr (talk) 12:54, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
