there is no reason why you should have all those boxes for the WikiProjects, you probably haven't done anything Krayziegunts (talk) 03:29, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are free to your opinion, of course. I would only point out that, if you check the records, I am often one of the founders of the projects in question, creator of the userbox, and/or more active assessors. And, yes, there actually is a reason for me to have the boxes. In the past I have at least once been challenged on my objectivity on the basis of being a listed member of a given project. This way, by displaying some of the relevant projects, I can indicate to several people that I am probably not going to be held as being "non-neutral" on the basis of any single project membership. You will note that I am the creator of the Jamaica project and userbox, for instance. Granted, I have recently created many, maybe even most, of the national WikiProjects, and I haven't been able to devote as much time as I would like to any of them, because of trying to at the same time update the Project Directory. But that should be changing soon, as I expect to finish the directory in the next week or so. John Carter (talk) 13:18, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, back in 2008 you created a number of stub articles about mountains in the UAE. At the moment I’m working on deorphaning and today I’ve created List of mountains in Fujairah so a lot of them now have a home. All the best, Mccapra (talk) 10:31, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
