November 2022[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Information icon Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 15:35, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Resuming the edit war[edit]

Returning to the same article to edit war about the same stuff is a terrible idea, you will very likely be quickly blocked (and for longer) if you keep that up. MrOllie (talk) 21:13, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Kitchen Knife (talk) 22:18, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - so, I've come to give you a warning about your conduct. Relevant reading is WP:ASPERSIONS, WP:AGF and WP:NPA. In a nutshell, when you are on an article's talk page, discussing the content of the article, you should not mention what you think about the other editors' motivations. You shouldn't call them propagandists; you shouldn't imply that they have an agenda; you shouldn't really talk about them as individuals at all. Article talk pages should be used to discuss the content of the article, and the relevant sources. If you feel that a particular account is editing inappropriately, don't mention it on a talk page - take it to an appropriate noticeboard, for administrators to review - that might be WP:NPOVN if the issue is a failure to stick to a neutral point of view, or WP:NORN, if you think another editor is adding original research, or even WP:ANI if you think that the issue is urgent. When you do that though, you need to provide evidence to support your accusations, in the form of diffs. Unless you are willing to make a report of misconduct, you should keep your opinions of other editors to yourself. I appreciate that I've given you a lot of reading to do here, but it's important, because you risk having your account blocked if you keep throwing accusations around as you have been doing.
