Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, S0091 (talk) 17:31, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Daphloop, I assume you are the same person as IP 71.9.59.11. Please see User talk:71.9.59.11 for some additional tips/guidance I left you, if you haven't seen it already. You'll also see I left you a different Welcome message here largely because the available Welcome messages are limited for IPs. As for Shanahan, personally I have no interest in the article so will not comment further on the talk page unless I think I can be helpful in some manner. It's on my WP:Watchlist for convoluted reasons (you now have a Watchlist too by the way). The only other advice is, if possible, be more concise with comments, see WP:TLDR. If you have general questions about editing Wikipedia, the Teahouse is the place to ask. S0091 (talk) 17:48, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
