I moved that draft article[edit]

I moved the draft article which you had started on your userpage, to User:Dana83art/John Florescu. Your userpage is for you to tell us something about yourself and your background, purpose here, etc.; it is not a sandbox. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:49, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedited[edit]

Hi, I have copyedited your draft. You will see small annotations of items that will probably need referenced sources - they look like this: [citation needed]. You will need to remove all the writing in capital letters, except of course for the start of sentences and proper names. The instructions at WP:CITE will explain how to make footnoted references for the sources you will find. if you need any further help, do not hesitate to ask me on my talk page. --Kudpung (talk) 17:24, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article John M. Florescu has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. ukexpat (talk) 18:57, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

deletion[edit]

Hi Dana. I went to a lot of trouble to review and edit your draft at User:Dana83art/John Florescu. It probably was not a good idea to move your original to article space just yet. Please ask me on my talk page if you need any help with it. --Kudpung (talk) 05:04, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please sign your posts![edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:51, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve John Florescu[edit]

Hi, I'm Fiachra10003. Dana83art, thanks for creating John Florescu!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix.

Thanks for your four years of work on this page. I've copy edited it heavily, removing the long lists of TV shows and publications that Mr. Florescu was involved in. While lists have their place in Wikipedia, a comprehensive list of a subjects' works often detracts from an article rather than adding to it. Also I tagged statements that need sources. One general word of advice: this article may not meet the fairly demanding standards for notability (see WP:BLP and for biographies of living persons (see WP:BLP). Biographies of living persons are tough places to start on Wikipedia because they are especially closely scrutinized.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Fiachra10003 (talk) 14:54, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
