The opening sentence reads of the above article reads "The New Lipchis Way is a 60.8 kilometres (37.8 mi) long distance footpath", yet infobox says "Length 64 mi (103 km)". Nev1 (talk) 15:41, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Oops. Silly me. I have corrected it.--Charles (talk) 17:55, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

John Marr Brydone's son

Was his son, Walter Marr Brydone, the same Walter Brydone who was chief engineer for the Great Northern Railway? If so, do you have a source for this? Simply south (talk) 17:24, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Simply south, the father is James Marr Brydone. I do not know any more about the son, Walter Marr than his name. Google book search found him in the List of members of the institution of civil engineers, which is promising.[1] The name also appears here and here re. improvements to lights for railways, living at Boston, Lincolnshire. Looks pretty compelling. You could probably get more from the Petworth Society, whose member have an extensive knowledge between them. They may well know descendants living in the area. They can be contacted at 62 Sheepdown Drive, Petworth, West Sussex, GU28 0BX

Thanks for the reminder. I'm still working on it so I'll move it.--Harkey (talk) 16:31, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
