CeeGee -- Hello, my name is Kent Landers and I work in Public Affairs for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta and wanted to suggest some additional biographical information to add to Muhtar Kent's Wikipedia page to make it more complete. Each of the suggestions noted can be cited from our biography page at thecoca-cola.company.com -- *http://www.thecoca-colacompany.com/dynamic/leadershipviewpoints/profiles/muhtar-kent.html

I hope you find this helpful in making this entry more complete --

1. At the end of the first paragraph it would be most accurate ot add "and became Chairman in 2009," following where it says he assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2008 as this is not his most recent positon.

2. In the first paragraph under "professional career," you could add "1978" to when he joined the company.

3. In the sixth paragraph under "professional career" it should say that he became "chief executive officer" effective July 1, 2008 -- not "chairman and chief executive officer." He became the Company's chairman in April 2009.

4. The current biography is short on biographical details in terms of organizations and civic involvement. I would suggest that the following paragraph from his official Coca-Cola biography could be added to the professional section the to make it more complete --

"He is active in the global business community and currently is co-chair of the Consumer Goods Forum, a fellow of the Foreign Policy Association, a member of the Business Roundtable, a past Chairman of the U.S.-China Business Council and Chairman Emeritus of the U.S. ASEAN Business Council. He also was recently appointed as a member of the Eminent Persons Group for ASEAN by President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton. He serves on the boards of Special Olympics International, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Catalyst and Emory University."
