Is it called 'shortcuts' when wikilinks link from wikipedia to wikimedia commons or vice versa?[edit]

I wanted to link to a page from wikimedia commons to wikipedia and back, but I didn't know how to search for this function. Is it called 'shortcuts' or something else? Searching for interwikilinks just confused me even more, making me consider 'shortcuts' as more related. I would like to download some documents to my computer that I can use for quick reference without needing to search wikipedia help. Any advice?
