Hello, Arun106, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Hi, and Welcome to Wikipedia!! Thanks for your contributions to the Vatul page. In general, a page should only cover a single topic. Because of this I have moved the information you added to a new article called Vatul (city). You can continue adding more info to that page. One thing, though--you shouldn't include lists of info, like the long list of nearby cities; similarly, you shouldn't include info about train schedules. The page WP:NOT, which explains policies about what Wikipedia is Not, may help you. There are other links in the Welcome template above which will tell you more about creating articles. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here, on my talk page, or on either of the articles' talk pages.Qwyrxian (talk) 15:04, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please only post info about the city on the Vatul (city) page. Your info wasn't deleted--it was just put onto the other page. Qwyrxian (talk) 15:24, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please Look at the Above Information[edit]

Arun, please pay attention to the above information, the information in the edit summaries on Vatul, and the information on the talk page. There is a new article called Vatul (city). Any information you want to add about the city belongs in that article and that article only. As a side note, part of the information you are trying to add does not belong in a Wikipedia article, but we need to deal with that over on the Vatul (city) page. Again, the only thing that should go on the Vatul page is discussion about the religious concept or the name associated with that concept. All information about the city in Maharashtra goes in Vatul (city). Qwyrxian (talk) 11:16, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image on Vatul (city)[edit]

Can you please some information explaining what that picture you just added to Vatul (city) is? I added the caption that's in the image file, but I have no idea what that is, what it means, what it's related to, etc. Remember on en.wiki, we need full explanations in English only. Thanks! Qwyrxian (talk) 12:44, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

English only on en.wiki[edit]

Arun...I'm afraid that you're not understanding me. The site you are on right now is en.wikipedia--which is the English Wikipedia. That means that all relevant information should be in English only. The names of places, and people are given in the native language, and sometimes a word or two is listed in a foreign language (see, for example, how on Vatul the word is mentioned once in Sanskrit since it refers specifically to a concept from that language). But you can't add large amounts of text in non-English languages. Can I ask what language you're using? Wikipedia has versions in many other languages; maybe you can add this information to a different Wikipedia that matches the language you're more comfortable with. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. However, it really is important that you start abiding by this policy; otherwise, I have to keep reverting you, and eventually I'm going to have to take further steps, as continuing to add material that doesn't belong here can be considered disruptive editing. A tag has been placed on ARK DESIGNS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Raja Chavan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Drmies (talk) 17:57, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:ARK DESIGNS TEAM.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ARK DESIGNS TEAM.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:25, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with ARK DESIGNS. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 18:35, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Raja Chavan. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This applies whether or not you are logged in to the account you used to create the page. JamesBWatson (talk) 18:59, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
