I would prefer to be referred to by he/him or they/them pronouns. I prefer the former, but they/them is generally a safe bet on the Internet. :) My previous signature was Toadspike. I've updated it to remove the shadow, which looked cool but made reading it difficult. The slanted "Talk" in my current signature was borrowed from Chaotic Enby.

About me

Hello there! I speak English, German, and Chinese, and will gladly do translations when they are within my competence. I play the double bass and piano, and I'm a decent quizbowl player. The major edits I make often focus on history, especially that of places I've visited or lived. I started out making many minor copyedits to fix spelling, grammar, and double spaces, add serial commas, and improve weird formatting, quirks which have been generously distributed throughout Wikipedia by my peers and, occasionally, myself. Nowadays, I sometimes write content, too! Advice and criticism are always welcome; simply leave a message on my Talk page. I love to teach new editors the mysteries of Wikipedia and will answer questions as best I can. I occasionally make mobile edits, although I find it more convenient to edit with a tangible keyboard and arrow keys to navigate. I have created a few articles, including Anna Pestalozzi-Schulthess, 5 Broadgate, Yunxian Man, and Tuas Lamp Post 1. Maybe one day I'll improve them to B-class or GA. I occasionally edit current-events topics. I was involved with writing 2022 Ukraine cyberattacks as they occurred. That article sadly required constant updating and could still be improved. I am variously active at NPP, AfD, AfC, and pending changes – I will happily answer questions about any, or work on a backlog in an emergency.

Clean up Oncotype DX Colon Cancer Assay (paid editing) Update 2022 Ukraine cyberattacks with all the recent sources. Draft:Phil Ventre Wang Anshi and New Policies (Song dynasty) should be updated using the Cambridge History of China. Upload various images from my photo library to Commons [3]. House of Li and related pages for the Sui, Tang, and Song dynasties need clarification on possibly non-Han ethnic backgrounds of their leaders. Federal Palace of Switzerland needs expansion, multiple locations and buildings in Switzerland need to be written up. Wallingford, Connecticut needs to be better, as does Paul Mellon Arts Center. Similarly, an article on the Kohler Environmental Center is in order. Overhaul Landslide and related articles to be...useful. Jörg Meuthen is inadequate. Create an article on the 差役法, assuming enough sources can be found. Corvée's China section can be improved with the same sources. Central station is a mess. Hopefully Hauptbahnhof can be re-created as a list. Swissmill Tower Jiashen Incident Censorate is a disappointment Hauptgestüt Trakehnen could have an English article List of salaries of heads of state and government needs data fields filled in and standardized (especially the USD conversion columns). Yam_(route) could use expansion, likely from CHoC. Need to mention "arrow messenger" nickname. Burma Road Swissair has serious grammar issues and omissions. CGI Inc. has some UPE issues.
