Berk Çoker

Media Specialist, Environmentalist and Turkish Writer. He is also a Turkish Science Fiction and Cinema Blogger, co-owner of Techandle website.

He studied Media & Communication Systems at Istanbul Bilgi University, later then he finalized his graduate studies on Political Science and International Relations. Nuri Berk Çoker speaks English, French, Spanish and Danish along with his mother tongue, Turkish. His undergraduate dissertation has focused upon "Soccer Hooliganism and Media" and graduate thesis subject was on "Israeli Foreign Policy & Structuration Theory". He has participated many programs including International Leadership Academy in Cologne and École Supérieure de Journalisme in Lille. Professional Basketball Player until his late 20s, he travelled up to 60 countries. Between the age 20-30 he's lived in 4 different countries including France, Spain, England & Denmark for more than 7 years. He worked as a columnist and page editor in various newspapers including Haber and Cumhuriyet Newspapers. He is also known as the very first Turkish pro-basketball player ever showed up in Danish Professional Basketball League.

Berk Çoker is also the writer of "Science Fiction Cinema: 1900-1970" book which was published in Turkish Language.
