New Explorer (in Thai "Samrujloke") is a 24 hour Documentary channel and one of the strongest brands of Next Step. The Documentaries are a collection of content of world class manufactures carefully selected and tailored for the Thai audience. The documentaries involve nature, culture, history and animal related content. The content then is translated and dubbed into Thai language so it is simpler to watch. The channel was created to educate the audience by gaining knowledge through watching documentaries that are easy to understand.

Next Step is a Thai cable and satellite television channel broadcaster. The company operates 6 channels New Explorer (Samrujloke), Mysci, Thainess (KhondeePrathedThai), Real Metro, Music and Lifestyle and Busaba Café. The channels air non-fiction television programs and knowledge content featuring documentaries with factual content involving nature, science, culture, and history, plus pseudo-scientific entertainment and reality programming in form of folks entertainment and music and lifestyle programs. As of 2014 Next Step channels are available to approximately 5 million TV households(20 million viewers) with 3.5 million cable TV households and 1.5 million satellite TV households representing 25% of viewership on cable television.
