I'm Olof Hellman, materials scientist by education and computer programmer by trade. I'm contributing to pages dealing with Materials Science, such as diffusion Atom Probe crystallographic defects amorphous solid ion implantation

Still getting used to wikipedia conventions, and having a lot of fun with this. I love the 'be bold' directive. If anything, I'm a bit too bold.

No, you're not! - - Ed Poor

I've also made significant contributions to these pages: XTC Doonesbury Iron Chef Auger electron spectroscopy mass noun Lise Meitner Zora Neale Hurston Stanley Jordan Brown v. Board of Education James Eastland Homer E. Capehart. I'm very proud of my "gas mileage analogy" for the uncertainty principle on Talk:Cognitive science of mathematics

Can't believe I had to make new pages for: Toni Morrison Langston Hughes Adrienne Rich Alice Walker Richard Wright and Ralph Ellison Please somebody provide more content for these.

I couldn't put up with the mess on the Phase (matter) page in which there was great confusion between states of matter and phases. That's fixed now.

I live near Seattle. email me at olof at mac.com

My blog lives at Here
