With 13 years in the financial industry full of Automation, ITIL, Incident Management, Event Management, Impact Analysis, Discovery and System Integration, one thing stays constant. I love making people’s lives easier. I am often pulled in to roles where I act as Architect, Technical Designer, Developer, System Integrator, BA, and Project Manager.

I’m drawn to initiatives where teams are stuck in an infinite loop constantly solving the same problem and need guidance to automate existing processes, integrate systems, improve the process and empower staff to be able to be more effective in order to take on more value add activities like correlation or issues, proactive monitoring, and predictive analysis.

When you can see a way to operate more efficiently and also have the vision to deliver, IT becomes an exciting world of possibilities.

The key is to not just take away boring work from people that could ultimately put their jobs at risk, but instead take your customers on the innovation journey where you can help them reduce the work they do not want to do and increase the work they should be doing like supporting more systems, expanding the client base, preventing issues before they occur and exploring new technology opportunities.
