I'm an attorney and an advocate for open access to scholarly articles. During law school, I co-founded an open access policy initiative at the University of Washington.[1] After several years of advocacy alongside SPARC, the Right to Research Coalition, OpenCon, and others, the policy was successful.[2] In broad strokes, I’m interested in digital policy, open communication systems, free speech and journalism, and copyright issues.
