I have created these lists using a number of sources:

• The main source is the list of Dutch geographic names from the NGA's GEOnet Names Server (GNS). I have extracted from this the names and coordinates for all Dutch towns.
• I have added the municipality information from a list by Henk van de Kamer (http://staff.science.uva.nl/~erikt/.Henk/welcome.html), for the towns where the coordinates matched.
• I have made several manual changes.

I'm planning on improving the data with more information from various sources.
