Most stations closed by Amtrak takeover in 1979[edit]
By the time Amtrak took over in October 1979, most of the stations that say "closed 1970s" had indeed already been closed by Penn Central. This rdt would probably be better represented if a second one were to be made with all of the Penn Central/Penn stations that it has ever served, leaving this one a relatively simple track of Amtrak's stations. -MJ (talk) 00:44, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
