... that D. I. Suchianu(pictured), born the same year as cinema itself, was Romania's oldest film critic by 1975? Source: Both facts from Florian Potra, "Cărți—Oameni—Fapte. D. I. Suchianu nu mai are 80 de ani", in Viața Românească, Vol. XXVIII, Issue 9, September 1975, p. 54; mentioned in different parts of the entry -- the highlighted coincidence of his having been born together with cinema itself is in "Interwar culture critic", him being the oldest by 1975 is in "Old age".
ALT1: ... that film critic and censor D. I. Suchianu(pictured), wanted Romanian moviegoers to cease "falling asleep whenever they're not shown a naked breast [or] a hip that's getting some action"? Source: Ioana Pârvulescu, "Revista revistelor interbelice. La cinematograful Regal...", in România Literară, Issue 24/1997, p. 7. Ironically, I'm using sex to peddle this hook.
Overall: @Dahn: Good article. Though, I will say that I don't think that the picture is clear enough to be on the main page. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:19, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
