The reason why i added the years from 1620-1680 to the list is because the first half of the 17th Century is the flowering time of the Barbary Pirates even if there is only one entry now (written by me) this should attract people that have some knowledge of Barbary Pirates.--Jóhann Heiðar Árnason (talk) 03:15, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't mind this comment, i didn't notice the gap on the list between the 1720's and the 1990's (which is a bit strange ). So i deleted the 1640's to 1680's. I will perhaps put them back up if i find anything relevant for that period.--Jóhann Heiðar Árnason (talk) 07:12, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge everything into a list?[edit]

Is it really necessary to have this many empty pages about dates? - Most of these articles are either red links or have 3 or 4 events within them that could easily be merged into one article. At the very least we should merge the articles into decades to make it more organised. I think I'll merge all the decades with red links into decades. If anyone has a very very important reason why we need individual years then please explain why here. Overall I think we should just merge everything into the piracy but I don't want to delete some potentially useful information so I'll leave it as is for now. -855376764 (talk) 12:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
