"made in a 1934 article on aesthetics by the author" maybe better as "made by the author in a 1934 article on aesthetics"
"Goodman's mentor" Mentors, since there's two of them?

Thanks for the review! I kept "article on aesthetics by the author" so that the following "who" clause refers to Goodman and not aesthetics. "Goodman's mentor" refers to just McKeon, hence that order. And I've edited the rest. Thanks again. czar 12:32, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
