Name[edit]

The formal name of the house is the 'Solar Umbrella' (See [1]). Since it is a proper name, following MOS naming conventions, I am moving this article to Solar Umbrella house. (See WP:CAPS) LK (talk) 11:19, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

article reads like an advertisement for the architects[edit]

This article is not neutral. It is packed with loaded adjectives and seems like a copy and paste job from the architect's own blurb. eg "Scarpa and Brooks have defined their careers by integrating high style with sustainability." Aniish72 (talk) 12:30, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is one of the most important designed American Homes built in the 21st Century. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CalderOliver (talkcontribs) 19:03, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

entry is not objective nor particularly informative[edit]

As noted above, this entry seems to have been lifted from an architectural trade journal or the architect's own advertising literature. It is difficult to discern from the text exactly what is different about the design and construction, just that it is different and lots of good things appear to have come from that.
