Surprised folks didn't question my supposition that Skyfire is really more of a Remote Desktop app than a browser. But the more I use it, the more it confirms my suspicion that it is not really a browser at all but we are just poking the mouse around on a virtual PC somewhere and seeing the result. It's a cool concept. Perhaps a realization that the phone just doesn't have enough CPU and RAM to do actual browsing. --Feldon23 (talk) 14:04, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it free of costs? 89.230.206.14 (talk) 11:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

At the moment. It does say in the article it's in the beta test stage and there are bugs. I'm not sure when Skyfire 1.0 is due to be released but that could be good to include in the article? Also, maybe some mention of current bugs or security concerns? Mawkish1983 (talk) 11:41, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the statement that the browser is not in beta. We don't normally say that computer programs are not in beta, and only mention the beta status if they are in beta. It also says when version 1.0 was released. I've left that in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.153.28.253 (talk) 14:55, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can't get it for iOS[edit]

I can't get Skyfire... it's not listed in iTunes App Store, and navigating from http://get.skyfire.com/ just gives me an error on iPod touch. How's this working for everyone else? --Bxj (talk) 11:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
