when above ground?[edit]

it seems like bad editing when an article says "around 10,000 years ago" in one place and then "around 9500 years ago" a few lines later. --142.163.194.97 (talk) 23:52, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

anomalous?[edit]

None of the (accessible) references use the word 'anomalous'. Perhaps 'unstudied' would be better. And of 'uncertain' origin? That implies there are ideas that are not quite proven. Is this the case? Then give them. If not, say "unknown".--142.163.194.97 (talk) 23:57, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Roman imported obelisks as you can see List of obelisks in Rome and as out lined here [1], Pantelleria was a major trading port where Egyptian jewellery where found. So it seems to me the simplest explanation is the megalith was a lost good at sea, probably during a storm it fell off board. The hole(s) through out it are probably means to secure or tie it during transports. Mightyname (talk) 21:19, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
