Translation issues and additions[edit]

Hello!
I have proofread the article (which had been translated from it:Trattato fra Annibale e Filippo V) and provided some additional content.
The main changes are:

  • the addition of Livius' text in Latin (public domain) - I can't find an English translation on the spot, but will keep searching for one
  • the addition of Polibius' text in Greek and English (both PD)
  • the correction of amicitia societatemque to amicitiam societatemque which is the required case for concordance: "ad amicitiam societatemque iungendam" in Livius
  • the use of Xenophanēs instead of Senofane, reproducing thus the Greek spelling of the name (Ξενοφάνης), even though Polybius only uses it once as Ξενοφάνη in the dative, leaving open the question of whether a "ς" is needed.

Correction to my previous note: I have found and included a public domain translation of Livius. Oof, this was a lot of work! F. Campelli (talk) 20:26, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
