I agree with the below poster, this page is not useful. For instance, people are pointing at this page to show that the US doesn't spend much on education. That's ridiculous because the US has the highest GDP in the world, so some people without that context are walking away with the idea that schools in the US are somehow less funded than schools in Botswana. 173.44.92.82 (talk) 12:48, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Without knowing the number of people being taught the information on this page is not useful. Countries such as Japan with an ageing population don't need to spend as much as war torn countries with large numbers under 25 years old. 1.121.159.227 (talk) 00:16, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The reference provided actually states Australia as 58th with 4.9%, not Netherlands, which is 55th with 5.1%.

I find it very difficult to believe that Burundi spends twice as much on education as Italy. This is an important statistic to have realistic numbers on, and this article needs a lot of work, IMO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Filius humanitas (talkcontribs) 17:34, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The current number for Trinidad and Tobago is at 15.6%, which ranks it 3rd. This should be amended122.105.135.197 (talk) 09:11, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Argentina[edit]

The data from Argentina must be updated. Today it has climbed to 6.47%, and the chart indicates 4.9%.

etc, etc etc. It was said so by the president, CFK. I will proceed to edit it the best I can, if anyone minds to correct me afterwards, please do so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mariano Menéndez (talkcontribs) 23:56, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried my best. Positions are not fully updated, and citations are missing. If anyone pleases to update it, you would be welcome — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mariano Menéndez (talkcontribs) 00:03, 27 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
