Why???[edit]

So the changes only happened in mostly Western countries but Africa and most Asians have not? So why update in some countries and not all? 197.250.197.104 (talk) 16:23, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I’ve edited some like Eswatini, Botswana, Nauru but I feel like they aren’t relevant enough, no offense, for people to really notice them. 48JCLTalk 02:03, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tanzania[edit]

Tanzania was 0.549 in 2021 and in 2022 its 0.532??? Does not make any sense when the country has been moving forward 197.250.225.197 (talk) 15:02, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure there’s a new HDI calculation. Last year’s 2021 data BOtswana was 0.693 but for this year’s 2021 it was 0.680 and went up to 0.704 in 2022. 48JcL48 (talk) 01:49, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The colors on the map lack distinctiveness[edit]

The colors for different categories in the image, which divides HDI into intervals of 0.05, lack distinctiveness, especially for the categories of 0.95-1 and 0.9-0.95. Can anyone choose a better color type? --傻蛋小魔王 (talk) 16:40, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you only really see the difference when a 0.9-0.949 country is bordering a 0.95-1.0 country 48JCLTalk 02:04, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Afghanistan[edit]

in earlier revisions, there was a naming dispute over Eswatini/Swaziland, but it was kept as Swaziland due to the UNDP report saying that. So, I think it’s appropriate to change the Taliban flag to the UN recognized Islamic Republic of Afghanistan flag. 48JCLTalk 02:08, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the 'List' section, the sentence before the table states that the data is from the 2022 report. This should be changed to the 2023 report, as the data has been updated to that from the UN's report from 2023. 119.234.6.24 (talk) 10:11, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: The data given in the table matches that on [1] (page 274) which may be from a 2023 report but it uses 2022 data. --Ferien (talk) 15:45, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Annual growth and change in rank should start from the same year[edit]

It seems odd to me that the annual % growth starts from 2010 while the change in rank starts from 2015. I personally think both should start from 2012 as this would cover changes from the last 10 years, but regardless they should both start from the same year. I want to be able to edit pages on Wikipedia to contribute services and the like to Wikipedia itself, as I also do research and whatnot from multiple sources, those of which I will do up-to-date & state-of-the-art editions for.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 14:59, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
