@Bobamnertiopsis: Unfortunately, I do not own the book personally, so I could not say. The citation was copied from Hurricane Eugene (1987). I could ask the editors of that article, but I don't have any other details. NoahTalk 21:51, 24 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Hurricane Noah: Thanks, I did some hunting and found it; it's a weird ref because it was published under the name Journal of Meteorology but the publication is now named International Journal of Meteorology, which is different from the Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences which was published until 1962 as the Journal of Meteorology.
