I've added a subsection describing the government's intention to enforce age verification on websites under the Digital Economy Act 2017. It's still unclear whether this will actually happen, but they have passed the necessary legislation, and repeatedly stated that this will be rolled out Real Soon Now. According to inews.co.uk, "Any porn site that fails to comply with the news[sic] rules will face a fine of up to £250,000, or a blanket block by UK internet service providers."
