@Editor8220: regarding the infobox you added twice diff diff, see Talk:Hinduism#Adding "INFOBOX RELIGION".
Regarding the dates you added,
  • founded_date=2300-1500 BCE
see the third paragraph of the lead, and Hindu synthesis.
Regarding your sources (too lazy or hasty to edit bare references?):

The history of Hinduism in India can be traced to about 1500 bce [...] The development of Hinduism can be interpreted as a constant interaction between the religion of the upper social groups, represented by the Brahmans, and the religion of other groups. From the time of the Vedas (c. 1500 bce), people from many strata of society throughout the subcontinent tended to adapt their religious and social life to Brahmanic norms.

Not 2300, but from 1500 onwards. And that is not in line with what scholarly sources say; see Hindu synthesis;

The origins of Hinduism have been traced to the Indus River Valley in the Indian sub-continent and the peoples who lived there. Hinduism is one of the oldest religions and there is evidence of the existence of Hinduism dating back 4,000 years. By 1500 BCE, Hinduism had already reached a high state of philosophical and religious development which has been sustaining it to the present.

No author, no references, non-academical website (Government of Manitoba (California), Education and Early Childhood Learning), and pure nonsense as quoted above. Non-WP:RS;

Other interpretations of the remains of the Harappa culture are even more speculative and, if accepted, would indicate that many features of later Hinduism were already in existence 4,000 years ago.

Speculative indeed, and, again, not what mainstream scholarship says;

Hinduism has two major roots. The more familiar is the religion brought to South Asia in the second millennium BCE by speakers of Aryan or Indo-Iranian languages, a branch of the Indo-European language family. Another, more enigmatic, root is the Indus civilization of the third millennium BCE, which left behind exquisitely carved seals and thousands of short inscriptions in a long-forgotten pictographic script.

Roots, not "founded place." Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 13:31, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I said you can update it with what you can give, I have no opposition with that. But I don't think there is a need to remove the whole thing without giving it a fair chance for the readwrs to have an interpretation. Editor8220 (talk) 13:35, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again, see Talk:Hinduism#Adding "INFOBOX RELIGION". No need to repeat that discussion. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 13:40, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That one has problems I agree, But the one I made was different, I don't understand apart from the timeline and origin point disputes, where is the problem?? Let my edit go published for atleast a week and if any dispute arise, I can revoke it. It feels like two or three people deciding everything. Editor8220 (talk) 13:45, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dispute already has arisen. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 14:52, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • The fundamental problem with an infobox on this article is the need to reduce a complex and nuanced history to parameters that are not designed to encompass complexity. The proposal here demonstrates those problems; many parameters obscure rather than illustrate, some others are actively misleading. The link to the IVC is a misrepresentation. The claim that it is an ethnic religion, likewise. The Scripture parameter is deeply confusing. The claim that Vedic sanskrit is the only language is misleading. The places of worship parameter is just odd. And I'm baffled as to why we would illustrate the world's oldest extant faith with a 21st century temple built in the US. In the last paragraph of the introduction the sentence "...approximately 1.20 billion+ followers, or 15%+ of the..." should be changed to "...approximately 1.20 billion followers, or around 15% of the..." to make it more clear and accord better with the sources which say "approximately" and "15%".
