German band - real connection?[edit]

Can anybody verify that German band (The?) Goombay Dance Band "popularized the style" of Goombay music? Didn't they just take the name, but musically do other things? 2A02:3032:40C:ED1C:2:2:E738:17A2 (talk) 10:13, 6 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
