Can anyone confirm the correlation between the ERA and the NCLB? Obviously, they are founded on the same principles, but was the NCLB created from the ERA or not?
politics?[edit]
This legislation was highly controversial, and an account of the politics of it is needed here, not just dry facts. Deipnosophista (talk) 11:53, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
Inner London Education Authority[edit]
London Government Act 1963 states that this act abolished the ILEA - but no mention here. Some clarification/addition needed. Jackiespeel (talk) 18:41, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
Northern Ireland[edit]
This act never applied to Northern Ireland. Per SESC Briefing paper: Northern Ireland, December 2017: "The Education Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 was the correspondent piece of legislation to the Conservative government’s 1988 Education Reform Act in England and Wales."
