Birth details[edit]

According to FreeBMD, only one Edgar Holmes was born in 1863, that being during January→March 1863 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Would anyone know whether this is the correct Edgar Holmes? However, there is an Edward Holmes whose birth was registered in April→June 1863 in Bradford (he played for Manningham F.C. in Bradford). Could this be the correct Edgar Holmes? Best Regards.
