I am fairly certain this tree is a Bombax buonopozense, but can only find as a ref this PDF from an 'independent media agency that specializes in in-depth promotional reports on different countries and regions worldwide' (found on page 23). Can anyone find a better ref for this so it can be included in the article? Even if it turns out that this is not a B. buonopozense, it would be nice and encyclopedic to know exactly what species it is. Thanks, Hamamelis (talk) 05:10, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Who determined it is dead? The photo shows green leaves, which indicates life to me. SDSpivey (talk) 22:13, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The president said that he will "erect a monument in its place". So I guess rest of the tree was demolished. Carpimapstalk to me! 11:27, 28 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
