Position on climate change[edit]

Either eat the cake or have it. If Groves position is so much within the mainstream, why erase it? If its not it is even more important. Expand the article but to don't delete positions on a "WP:I don't like it" motvation. Serten (talk) 15:25, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please don't ascribe "you don't like it" as a motivation so easily. You have no way of knowing Stephan Schulz's motivation, and this smacks of a lack of WP:AGF. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 16:21, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The quote in question is out of an abstract of a current paper and the notion of "out of context" is plainly wrong. Its insofar a sort of tried cencorship to exclude it. I will restore it if no content oriented rationale is given. Serten (talk) 19:55, 19 September 2014 (UTC) PS.: Grove is someone who takes the Littel Ice age seriously, he surely doesnt give the hockey stick any credentials for actual regional climate. Maybe thats the reason why there is so much interest to do away with his notions on climate change.[reply]

@Serten: How is the hockey stick controversy related to this article? Jarble (talk) 06:00, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Third party tag[edit]

A biography of a scholar describes his work, if you need to confirm or dispute it, provide the necessary sources yourself. The common wisdom of human made deforestation as reason for a downgrade of the mediterrenian is thoroughly disputed. A wide array of Climate changes happend naturally while human settlement and use pattern play an important role in mitigating or aggravating them. Serten (talk) 20:22, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
