I have been wondering something about our vehicles. I saw an episode of MythBusters and it got me thinking. I do not know near enough about chemistry to experiment on my idea, so anyone out there is welcome to send me a message on bjday82@comcast.net. Here's the idea;

We all know that gasoline yeilds a fume when it combusts under heat and pressure. This toxic fume just sits around the air and does practically nothing. But what if we could create a combustible compound that yeilds off another compound that is combustable when combined with an element already in the air? Basically, what I mean is what if we have a liquid A in our tank. It combusts and creates a chemical B. Chemical B combines whith the various chemicals in the air, such as Oxygen and other trace elements. This new compound C is caught behind the exhaust, filtered and funneled into another compartment of the engine. This compound C is used as a fuel. This would probably not be capable of creating yet another compustable compound. But even this would cut gasoline requirements in half at least.

One thing I have considered is that it would be a presision move because the transfer of compound A and B would have to be synchronised or there will be an imbalance. I barely know much about vehical mechanics but my training in electricity suggests that the imbalance would overheat/rupture the entire system.

If my idea is nonsense that won't hurt me. This is just an idea that I have and I wanted to put it on the table. Hope this helps our planet!
