Letzeburgesch[edit]
Hi,
Please change Letzeburgesch to Lëtzebuergesch.
Thanks in advance. --Les Meloures (talk) 16:50, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Why? The preferred spelling, according to the ISO 639-2 custodian (here) for language tag
ltz
is 'Luxembourgish' with an alternate spelling 'Letzeburgesch'. For the same language tag, ISO 639-3 apparently prefers 'Letzeburgesch' over 'Luxembourgish' though the custodian's page title forltz
is 'Luxembourgish' (see here). - en.wiki apparently prefers 'Luxembourgish' because Letzeburgesch and Lëtzebuergesch redirect to Luxembourgish.
- Regardless, were it decided to change the spelling, that change must not be made here because this module tracks the ISO 639-2 custodian.
- Where are you seeing 'Letzeburgesch' and what led you here to achieve this change?
