Victoria Groce is an American quiz show contestant. She won the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament in 2024.

Early life and education[edit]

Groce was raised in Macon, Georgia.[1] She participated in academic bowl, Mathcounts, and Odyssey of the Mind growing up.[2] She attended the University of Georgia, studying comparative literature.[2]

Quizzing career[edit]

Groce first appeared on Jeopardy! in 2005, ending David Madden's 19-day streak and winning US$23,801 across two episodes.[1][3] After appearing on Jeopardy!, she moved Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and worked for the University of Pittsburgh.[1]

Groce renewed her interest in trivia about a decade later.[1] She and has participated in international quizzing competitions since 2017.[1] She has appeared as a "chaser" (alias: "The Queen") on the American game show The Chase since 2022.[3] She was invited to the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament aired in April 2024, winning the tournament by beating Amy Schneider and Andrew He in the final round.[3][4] She competed in season two of Jeopardy! Masters, airing in May 2024.[5]
