The Clock Tower in Botad became a popular attraction when developments began under the reigns of Maharaja Krishna Kumarsinhji Bhavsinhji and TakhtSinhji (Bhavnagar State). Shri Damodardar Jagjivan Shah constructed the clock tower.
Today, Tower Chalk serves as the city's major business center.
There is a library in the building bearing his name.
