Liu Wei (Chinese: 刘伟; pinyin: Liú Wěi, born 1987[1]) is a Chinese video game developer and entrepreneur who is a co-founder and the current chairman of gaming company miHoYo.[2]

Education[edit]

Liu attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University for postgraduate studies, together with the other co-founders of miHoYo, Cai Haoyu and Luo Yuhao.[1]

On September 24, 2021, miHoYo announced that Liu had become the Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of the company's party committee.[3]
