Dilkhush Kumar, an Indian entrepreneur, is renowned as Bihar's startup king. He is the founder and CEO of RodBez, an app-based one way taxi service in Bihar, India. His entrepreneurial journey was highlighted on Shark Tank India Season 3, where he showcased his company and successfully negotiated a beneficial agreement with the sharks.[1][2][3][4][5]

Early life and Career[edit]

Dilkhush Kumar hails from Bangaon, a small village in Saharsa District, Bihar. After completing his 12th board, he engaged in various odd jobs to sustain himself, from pulling rickshaws in Delhi to selling fruits and vegetables in Patna. His journey to becoming an entrepreneur was far from easy. Despite lacking a stellar educational background, Kumar managed to thrive, driven by his strong willpower and never-give-up attitude. Despite facing hardships, Kumar remained steadfast in his entrepreneurial spirit.

He initiated his entrepreneurial journey with 'Aarya Go Cab,' which gained traction in saharsa and other parts of Bihar. However, he soon envisioned the concept of establishing a database company, which led him to part ways with his first startup. He christened his second venture 'RodBez,' a distorted version of the term "Roadways." The unique selling proposition of RodBez lies in its fare structure, where unlike Ola and Uber, which charge fares for round trips on outstation journeys, RodBez charges only for one-way trips.

Within a brief period of 6-7 months, Kumar successfully raised funds amounting to Rs 4 crore, attracting nearly 1.2 lakh visitors to the platform. RodBez offers services including one-way taxis, taxi pools, and carpooling, with customers paying higher rates for longer distances[6][7]
