Cornèr Bank (officially Cornèr Banca SA[1]) is a Swiss private bank headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland. The main activity of the bank is in private banking, credit and credit cards. Founded in 1952, it has been primarily known for being the first banking institute to launch the Visa card respectively Mastercard in 1998.

The bank is part of Cornèr Group which compromises Cornèr Bank Ltd., Cornèrtrader and Cornèrcard. A majority of the private banking group remains owned by the founding Cornaro family.[2][3]
